Director
Neighborhood Playhouse

Dear Sir:
I am writing in support of Christopher Green’s application to the acting program of the Neighborhood Playhouse. Christopher Green was a student in a characterization class I taught last year. His work in my class was outstanding and I believe he has the curiosity, talent, and intelligence to become an excellent actor. When given several specific acting problems to tackle, from playing age to period styles, Christopher approached each challenge enthusiastically with an open mind and trusting spirit. I have seen Christopher perform in numerous projects outside of class and while his work is obviously the product of careful preparation and an intelligent consideration, he remains spontaneous and fully engaged on stage, listening and reacting authentically to his partners. Christopher is an outgoing individual who always seems interested in those around him. His enthusiasm, sense of humor, and caring nature make his presence in the classroom or on stage a welcomed addition. I believe Christopher Green will not only benefit by studying at the Neighborhood Playhouse but will contribute significantly to your acting program as well.

Sincerely,
Rhonda Justice-Malloy

"Christopher Green sets the stage on fire as Jake.  From the incendiary quality of the initial scene in the telephone booth straight through to the conclusion of the play, Green's portrayal of Jake as the charismatic loser is driven and compelling."  by Liz Ireland
